Area information

The citizenM Hotel Amsterdam Airport is situated within a one-minute walking distance from the arrivals and departures terminal at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (200 metres).

A covered walkway is provided for guests to walk to and from the hotel. Buses, taxis and trains are also within walking distance (200 metres) and provide a 24-hour connection to the city centre of Amsterdam (20 minutes by train) and all other major cities in The Netherlands. Parking and rental cars are within walking distance as well (200 metres).

Ease of check-in, friendly staff, excellent facilities, location, rooms that don't go with the flow. We love this hotel, and after staying here twice, will definitely go back.

Wish the parking was a bit closer and cheaper, but that's more the airport's fault than the hotel's.

The hotel is conveniently located, the staff friendly, the room interesting with many techno conveniences.

The maid staff did not take away the dirty towels I left on the floor. There should be a group of luggage carts that are always on hand to take baggage to and from the airport, as there is no shuttle to this hotel. The food in the hotel refrigerator bar is VASTLY overpriced for what it is.

The room was superb. It's not for everyone, but I found it very practicle for an overnight stay. The bed was huge and very comfortable.

It was fun, the atmosphere was superb, rolling out of the king-size bed to the illuminated shower early in the morning and be near the check-in was fantastic! Highly recommendable!!

It took us hours to find out how to dim all the lights. Also, first I put a towel over the little machine that controls everything to stop the glare, only to find out much later it could be taken from the wall.

Room is small. Little or no room to work in the room - have to sit in the lobby.

I loved the bed size which are huge also if one has a single room.

It would be good to have a manual in the room. I found it difficult to
know how to use all the gadgets and spent a lot of time with trial and
error (operating of the tv etc.).

In fact the whole design of hotel is some thing new that I experienced ,
I am travelling worlwide frequently , but this hotel was the 1st
experience of such a compact and wonderfull design . I appreciate it .
Unfortunately hotel doesn't have some feature like swimming pool and Gym
.Also I sugget to arrange a restaurant for the hotel.Then guests could
have buffert breakfast in an specific chage.

Convenient close to the Airport at an acceptable rate (walking
distance).

Selfregistration does not facilitate to process two rooms booked
against a single name. The time it took to get a cup of coffee. I
assume this was considered acceptable understanding that the hotel
started operation recently.
