The rooms were clean.

The hotel cancelled my reservation because they did not see on the reservation that I was arriving early the following morning. I was told that it was Booking.com fault, not the hotel. Then they gave me a smaller room, which had a better rate - but they also charged me a no show fee, which I'm still not sure if I was totally credited. The water pressure and temperature was terrible.

I had a problem with a tv remote in my room and when staff came up to look at it they didn't do anything about it.

Location and lobby bar

They only had 4 of our 5 rooms booked. After long wait we finally got last room. Also did not get rooms we booked, we got some smaller rooms for no reduction in price

Rooms are very nicely rennovated and comfortable, lobby, lounge, bar and restaurant are very cool. Rate was excellent -- probably because they need to generate revenue while they finish rennovating the hotel. Read on...

1. Restaurant only serves "small plates," not complete meals 2. Only two, very slow elevators. 3. No room service and no coffee or mini bar in the room. 4. No iron or ironing board in the room. 5. The worst part: very noisy room -- didn't get 5 minutes of sleep because of the loud street noise (garbage trucks all night long). 6. No in- room movies.
